Resilience.
In one word that is the best way to describe SBI alumni Bobby Copping.
Bobby had to retire from professional football at the age of 19, after a head injury he sustained during a training game for Peterborough United.
From that moment on, he had to rethink his career path to move forward. He knew he wanted to remain in football and decided to look for options.
His path led him to SBI, where he enrolled in our Master's degree in Football Business & Management last year.
Bobby found the motivation and support he needed at SBI, and he graduated with high distinction.
Seeing his potential as a business savvy professional, his club appointed him as General Manager of Peterborough United's Women's team.
Bobby is the perfect example of someone who transformed adversity into an opportunity. And he has aspirations to continue growing in the football industry.
To share his story, we will be hosting a live webinar with Bobby on Thursday, October 6th, where we will delve into his life and experience at SBI.
It starts at 8pm Spain / 7pm UK.
In case you haven't registered you can still do so.
