Tottenham Hotspur opened their new stadium this week. With a capacity of 62,062 it is the second-largest venue in the Premier League behind Old Trafford.
It has been designed to be a multi-purpose venue and features the world's first dividing, retractable football pitch, which reveals a synthetic turf pitch underneath for NFL games and other concerts and events.
The stadium is the first in the UK to offer a wide range of food and beverage outlets. In fact, there are 65 different food and beverage outlets located in the concourses, one which includes the world's first microbrewery inside a stadium.
The stadium is the first cashless sporting venue in England and it also offers stadium-wide connectivity with more Wi-Fi hotspots and Bluetooth beacons as well as greater bandwidth than any other stadium.
For the time being the stadium is named "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" until a naming-rights deal is reached. The club is reported to be looking for naming-rights deals worth 20m GBP annually.
