Manchester City and Liverpool are two of England’s strongest clubs, both on and off the pitch.
The infographic below highlights some of the main economic indicators of both clubs including their total revenue for the 2015-2016 season broken down by matchday, TV broadcasting and commercial revenue according to the latest Deloitte Money League Report. It also includes the estimated squad market value of both clubs.

According to www.transfermarkt.de the most valued players for each squad are:
- Kevin de Bruyne valued at €65M
- Sergio “Kun” Aguero valued at €65M
- Raheem Sterling valued at €45 M
- Philippe Coutinho valued at €40M
- Roberto Firmino valued at €35M
- Jordan Henderson valued at €28 M

This year´s Deloitte Money League Report which looks at the numbers from 2015/16 ranked Manchester City and Liverpool as the fifth and ninth highest revenue earning clubs in world football respectively.
Jurgen Klopp was appointed Liverpool manager in October 2015 and signed a three-year contract reportedly worth 8 million euros annually. Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, signed a massive deal with Manchester City earning him a reported 17 million euro salary per season to lead the club to Premier League and Champions League glory. The Champions League trophy, however, will have to wait for another year as City was recently eliminated by Monaco in the round of 16 of the competition.
