The program is aimed at professionals looking to improve their digital literacy to lead and participate in the business transformation in a sports organization. The course will be led by Stephen Bourke, an internationally-recognized sports business strategist and digital analyst who serves as a global executive board member for the Sport and Entertainment Alliance in Technology (SEAT) Conference.
“Numerous organizations are looking for solutions to embrace digital transformation as they work to define the impact it is having on their teams, leagues, sponsors, broadcasting companies and, most importantly, their fans experience,” says Bourke who developed the course in partnership with SBI. “We have researched the sports market and broader economy to explore how sports organizations are embracing the digital future and have developed a course that outlines the principles needed to navigate the digital disruption in sports.”
The four-month program will include online guest lectures delivered by international sport industry executives from top clubs, governing bodies and corporations that will allow learners to gain insight on the latest trends, opportunities and challenges.

The program begins on January 22, 2018 and will be delivered using SBI’s latest technology-enabled education online platforms.
